Venue Notes:
Parking: There is free and plentiful parking at the venue space and next door. You will see signage. We are located at: 66 State Rd, Westport, MA 02790 in the ballroom which can easily be found by entering the main entrance and walking just a bit to the right.
Elizabeth Estrella created Southcoast Raqs in 2024 as a means of highlighting the diversity & talent of our local New England belly dance artists. Inspired by a lack of opportunities for dancers of all backgrounds, abilities, & identities, Elizabeth reached out to many of her fantastic colleagues to create a stage show where all artists are safe & celebrated as they showcase their talents. Across five shows, Southcoast Raqs has featured fifty-seven dancers from MA, RI, ME, VT, CT, Lebanon, the Dominican Republic, France, Brazil & more! We’ve had the honor & privilege of sharing the stage with professional headliners: Najla, Inara, Sherine Khatoun, Crystos, & Elizabeth Estrella. The show is also a celebration of small business & has featured nineteen local vendors so far.
